A strong Communications Committee is determined to keep everyone informed in a timely manner and infuse some enthusiasm into the streets of Church Run. At the core of these efforts are the Church Run Street Representatives and the Newsletter Committee, working together on new initiatives aimed at bringing our residents up to date. The newsletter committee consists of a very excited group of people who are determined to make the newsletter a success. The first initiative was the introduction of the new community newsletter, the Church Run Herald. Their goal is to inform and build support for local and neighborhood events and in doing so, the hope is to create a greater sense of community pride within all of our residents! Another two additional initiatives for ‘getting the word out’ have been a re-vamping of the Street Rep duties and our newly developed website. The Street Reps will now take on the neighborly tasks of welcoming new residents into the community, helping the Board collect information for the yearly neighborhood directory, and delivering information on neighborhood events. They will also serve a very important role as a conduit among the neighborhood for spreading important news and insuring that this news is relayed to the Newsletter Committee and published in our website or our quarterly newsletter.
